Changes

I know a lot has happened since my last entry but we've been so busy!!!! We recently got new jobs, moved into our new house, and are expecting another beautiful baby girl this Christmas/New years!!! So much to do and so little time.

But regardless life has blessed us with so much this year and I just can't wait for baby #2 to be the best Christmas gift we have ever received :) I have no idea what troubles a toddler and newborn are going to bring but I know the happiness will far outweigh anything that life throws at us. I promise to do my best at documenting it all.

Homemade Baby Food

I've heard a few stories about how hard it is to make baby food so when it came time for me, I did my research. Online there are a multitude of recipes each with their own opinion of how it's so much better than the bottled baby food. So I tried it and much to my liking, it was pretty simple. Steam veggies, throw it in the magic bullet and TADA! Baby food!!!!

Tummy time?

I can't get Alana to do tummy time for longer than 5 minutes at a time but in the morning I find her sleeping face flat. If I try to move her she whines and turns right back onto her tummy!

I know she has full control of her neck now but every time I find her in this position I HAVE to make sure she's still breathing!!!

First day of daycare

Today was Alana's first day of daycare and although it was hard to leave her this morning, the family taking care of her made it much more pleasant. Alana was all smiles and already making
new friends :)

Disneyland fireworks and Pooh

Today Alana watched the fireworks at Disneyland for the very first time and loved it!!!! We also got her favorite Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal in her size :) I couldn't resist!

I'm loving these few moments of peace in my busy life. I cant believe that I have to see a patient again at 330am!!!! But seeing the look on her face in Disneyland is all that I need to get through the week.

Christmas card details

For some reason it wouldn't let me post my description with the Shutterfly picture of our Christmas card, so here's what I tried to write below it.

Ok, I must confess that I was a little late ordering our cards this year and will probably not be mailing many out. But I just couldn't resist the opportunity to create something that Alana will be able to see from every Christmas since she was born. Call me sentimental, I know, but I just had to do it before it was too late. Better late than never I guess!!!
