Missing Pregnancy

Lately I've been missing pregnancy just a little bit. Don't get me wrong though, the frequent trips to the bathroom, not being able to stand for long periods of time and the swelling are thankfully gone, but there is just something about pregnancy that I can't really put into words.

I miss the feeling of knowing that she is always with me. I would constantly rub my belly, comforted to know that she was right there, just waiting to meet the world. Now she's here and I absolutely love being a mother, but there's just something missing. I'm a little worried because I haven't been apart from her since birth and I'm wondering if I'm going to have separation anxiety. Hopefully not!!!

Anyway, I was reminded of being pregnant because today Cat and Monica visited me for a quick hour before Cat went to the hospital to be induced. Baby Adelynn Rose is finally on her way!! She will be induced tonight at 6pm!!! Best wishes for a safe and happy delivery guys!!!

Bath Time

Alana had her first bath today and it was too cute. She has always been so calm and so it was no surprise that she didn't cry once during her bath. My mom bought her this fancy pink bathtub complete with a showerhead and Alana loved it!! Thank you grandma!!!!

Sorry we won't be with you on your actual birthday but hopefully you'll have a great time in Miami!!!!!

Today was Alana's first party and she was so well behaved!!! It was pretty funny because since it was her first time out with us, Francis and I made sure to pack everything and I didn't realize that so much planning went into such a little baby! She's so tiny but she needs so much stuff! It took us at least an hour to get her ready. Hopefully we'll get a little more used to this and be able to get ready a lot faster next time :)

We missed him so much that we had to go visit him at work!!!

Last day with Daddy :(

So his 2 weeks are up Francis has to go back to work tomorrow. I know I may sound a little silly to be sad about it but I've cherished these past few weeks together as a family. Are these postpartum blues getting to me or what?!!?! I feel like I'm gonna be so sad when he leaves for work tomorrow morning :(


I try to think about it this way to keep me from being so sad: Only 4 more weeks until we get to be together again for 6 awesome weeks!!! Maybe by then we'll be able to take her out more often :)

Happy Birthday Tita Heidee!!!

Yesterday was actually my sister's birthday but we celebrated it with food and family today.

Now throughout our childhood, you couldn't exactly say my sister and I got along well. In fact, it was quite the opposite. We argued, yelled, and did what normal siblings do.

Nowadays, I look back and am amazed at how far we've come. I'm proud to say that my sister is one of the nicest and most generous people that I know. Whenever I see her it seems like she has something for me, Alana or Francis that she just so happened to come across on one of her shopping sprees. It's not just with me though, I see it with my parents and everyone around her.

We've never been the type to really tell each other how we feel so I'll keep it short and simple...

Ate, thank you for everything!!! I LOVE YOU :)
